Step Schedule a Meeting Click the Schedule button. Step Enter a meeting title, in the Topic field. Step Select additional Meeting Options , including Require meeting password, if desired. Step Select which Calendar type you wish to create the invitation with. Step Click the Schedule button. You will also have the option to invite contacts or copy the URL to the live call.

Send invites. Add a contact. On the desktop app, click the same orange "New Meeting" option on the homepage. New meeting. Invite others. This will open a pop-up. The first tab at the top will give you the option to invite contacts. Search for a specific name or select one from the list.

Invite contacts. You can also send an invitation via email. Select how you'd like to send an invite to open a new draft. You'll also find the option to copy the invitation link here. From here, Zoom will prompt you to download and run a file to launch the application. This can vary in each web browser, so follow the instructions on the webpage to do this successfully. Once the application is running, a popup should appear asking how you would like to join the audio conference.

It will open a screen giving you a few different options for how you would like to invite others, including simply copying the invite URL. Go to your preferred browser and paste the link into the address bar. Click the "open Zoom" pop-up or "click here" if that doesn't appear and follow the instructions to join the meeting with the app.

If you want to join in your browser rather than downloading an app you can click "join from your browser" at the bottom of the screen. This makes it a better experience for everyone and will allow you to view any resources being shared in the call, such as a presentation. Dialling in with mobile should be saved as a last resort, especially as some meetings may not support it.
